Privacy

This site contains no advertising and no third-party trackers, and sets no cookies unless you open an account; an anonymous, cookie-free audience measurement is described below, and you can refuse it.

Your account

If you create an account, we keep your first name, your last name, your e-mail address, your password in the form of an irreversible hash (Argon2id), your choice regarding news about the site, and your answers to the welcome questionnaire (goal, level, time per day, display preferences). Legal basis: performance of the service you request; for news about the site, your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from your profile.

This data is kept for as long as the account exists. A sign-up that is never confirmed is erased about eight days later. You can delete your account yourself, from your profile: everything is erased from the database immediately (backups, kept for 30 days, disappear afterwards). The account security log (date, short hash of the IP address, event) is kept for 3 months, without any password.

Account e-mails (activation link, forgotten password, security alerts) are sent from the contact@sditech.fr mailbox, hosted by Gandi.

Cookies

Two cookies, strictly necessary, and only if you log in: MPCSID (your session, limited to the “My account” area, erased when you close your browser or after 2 hours of inactivity) and MPCIN (tells the rest of the site to show “My space”, without any personal data). They do not require consent. The theme and the builder’s display settings stay on your device.

What is transmitted

When you use the builder, your browser sends the server the chosen combination (identifiers of the bricks and transformations), nothing else. Like any web server, the server keeps a technical log of requests (IP address, date, page requested) for 14 days, for security and diagnostics; it also limits the number of requests per IP address, using an irreversible hash of it.

What stays on your device

The audio recordings are produced in advance by a synthetic voice (OpenAI), once and for all, then served by this site: when you listen to a sentence, nothing is sent to OpenAI or to any other service. If a recording is missing, your device’s own synthetic voice takes over, on your device. Fonts and all other resources are served by this site itself.

News by email

If you subscribe in the footer, we keep your email address and interface language to send you the site’s news, until you unsubscribe (link in every email). Legal basis: your consent. The address is never sold or shared.

Audience measurement

To know which pages are read, the site counts visits without cookies and without storing your IP address: a visit is recognised by a hash (an irreversible fingerprint) of the IP address, the browser and the day, which changes every night. No tracking from one day to the next, nothing shared with third parties; kept for 13 months. Legal basis: legitimate interest (exempt from consent). If your browser sends “Global Privacy Control” or “Do Not Track”, you are not counted. You can also refuse here: a preference cookie, MPNOSTAT (13 months), remembers your choice.
